Storage
These fruits require well-ventilated storage areas, cool but not cold, with a temperature between 15 and 25 °C.
Under these conditions the product may be stored for up to 5-6 days.

Handling
Watermelon is quite hardy and can withstand stacking.

Watermelon, especially early varieties, is sensitive to strong impact which could cause it to crack open.
